Welcome to the web design page at DCC Computer Academy. There are many things you can learn during this class.
Description:
(10 Sessions/30 hours Monday through Friday for two weeks) Students will become familiar with many aspects of web site development. Students will explore languages such as HTML, CSS, and a little bit of JavaScript. The goal of the class will be to produce several simple websites and finally an academy website which is the website you are looking at right now.

Q: What exactly do you learn in Web Design?
A: You learn HTML and CSS. There are many tags and attributes in HTML and properties in CSS which allow you to change your webpage and make it more interesting.
Q: Ok. So how do the tags make your webpage better?
A: Tags make your webpage better because they can change the colors, make tables, add images, change the font and much much more. In the DCC Web Design class you learn how to do all of these things.
Q: How old do you have to be to take this class?
A: At least nine and up to fifteen years old.
Q: How long is the class?
A: Sessions are three hours long. They start at 1:00 PM and end at 4:00 PM
Q: How would taking this course help in the future?
A: If you want to pursue a career in creating websites for companies and orginizations learning the basic tags of HTML and CSS would be a good start. Also, if you wanted to start your own business, a website is very important. Finally, personal sites can be very rewarding.
